Wesley Barnes(b. 1999, Billings, MT) is an environmental artist who creates in drawing, sculpture and photography. Barnes grew up admiring the creative mindset of artists, Vincent Van Gogh and Katsushika Hokusa and the ideas of them creating art. In grade school drawing was a influence for sparking his interest. From then he enjoys thinking creatively and while finishing up his schooling from k-12, he elected as many art classes he could. From woodshop and ceramics, to painting and drawing, he enjoys the art practice and is making it his dream career. He is pursuing a BA  (Bachelor of Arts) degree at MSU Billings and will graduate in Fall of 2023. His intentions after majoring in the BA and graduating, is to pursue tattooing, sculpture making and photography.
